Getting started
What Jema Cards is and how to begin.
Jema Cards is an NFC business card with a full digital profile behind it. When someone taps your card on their phone, your profile opens straight away with your contact details, links, website pages and a form to send you their details.
Jema Cards is made by iPaha Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We print and encode every card in London.
Each card holds a small NFC chip, the same technology used for contactless payments. Holding the card near the top of a phone opens your profile in the phone's browser. The chip has no battery, so it never needs charging.
No. Your profile opens in the phone's normal web browser and nobody has to install anything.
iPhone XS and newer read NFC cards automatically. Older iPhones (7 to X) can use the NFC reader in Control Centre. Most Android phones read NFC as long as NFC is switched on in settings.
If a phone can't read NFC, the person can scan your QR code or open your profile link instead.
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit. You get a public profile with up to 5 links and 30 days of analytics. You can upgrade when you want your NFC card.
Go to the activation page and enter the code from the insert in your pack, or from your order email. Sign in or create an account and the card is linked to your profile straight away. You can then edit your profile whenever you like.
Cards & NFC
Using, updating and replacing your card.
Yes, as often as you like. The card opens your live profile, so any change you make in your dashboard shows up straight away. You never need a reprint.
Yes. Go to Dashboard, then Cards & tags, open the item and choose what it should open. The change is instant for both taps and the printed QR code. Nothing needs rewriting.
Search for your business on Google and open your Business Profile, then choose "Ask for reviews" (or "Get more reviews") and copy the link. Paste it when you set up your review card or stand. A Google Place ID (it starts with ChIJ) works too.
Go to Dashboard, then Cards, and report the card as lost. It stops opening your profile straight away, so whoever finds it can't use it. You can then order a replacement.
When we encode a chip in our London studio, we password-lock it. Another person's phone can read your card, but it can't change where the card points.
Usually, yes. Normal plastic and leather cases are fine. Thick, metal or magnetic cases can block NFC. If a tap doesn't work, try touching the card to the top or middle of the back of the phone.
Yes, Premium lets you link several cards to one profile. This is handy if you want a spare or a card for a second bag.
The Standard plan includes a Standard NFC card. Premium subscribers can also order a custom-designed Premium NFC card as a £59.99 one-off add-on.
Plans & billing
Prices, payments, subscriptions and cancelling.
Free costs nothing. It gives you a profile with up to 5 links and 30 days of analytics.
Standard is a one-off £29.99 payment and includes your NFC card. You get unlimited links, 13 months of analytics, lead capture and export, the QR code studio and the standard templates.
Premium costs £9.99 a month or £99.99 a year. It adds every template, modular website pages, theme and dark mode controls, a custom domain, bookings, services, taking payments, multiple cards and removing the "Powered by" line.
Yes. You pay £29.99 once and there is no subscription. You keep your card and the Standard features.
All payments go through Stripe. You can pay with any major debit or credit card, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device supports them. We never see or store your full card number.
Yes, on Premium. You add one record at your domain provider and we take care of verification and the SSL certificate, so your profile loads securely at your own address.
Orders & shipping
Dispatch times, delivery costs, tracking and reviews.
Each product page shows a live countdown to our next dispatch cut-off (2pm UK time, Monday to Friday) and the day your order will leave our London studio. Items marked "Ships today" are dispatched the same working day when you order before the cut-off. Most cards leave within 2–3 working days. Custom-designed cards are dispatched once you approve the design. UK delivery usually takes another 1–3 working days.
Delivery costs come from our current delivery rates. They're shown on each product page and again at checkout before you pay. Some products ship free, and some rates become free above a basket value. When that applies, the product page says so.
We deliver across the UK. We also ship to the international destinations listed at checkout. If your country isn't listed, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
Yes. We email you when your order is confirmed and again when it's dispatched. The dispatch email includes tracking when the delivery service provides it.
Orders sent outside the UK may have import duties or taxes in the destination country. The recipient pays these, and they aren't included in our prices.
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. We can usually make changes until your card goes to print.
Once your order arrives, we email you a private link to rate each item. If you're signed in, you can also use the Write a review button on the product page. Every review comes from a verified purchase, and we check reviews before they're published.
Returns & refunds
What can come back and how refunds work.
You can return unopened, unused and unactivated cards and accessories within 14 days of delivery, in their original packaging. Personalised and custom-designed cards can only be returned if they're faulty or we sent the wrong item. Once a card has been activated, we can't take it back.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
Email hellojemacards@ipaha.co.uk with your order number, the items you want to return and why. We reply within 1 business day with a return authorisation (RA) number and the return address. Send the item by a tracked service with the RA number on the parcel. You pay return postage unless the problem was our mistake or a fault.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and its packaging. We'll send a free replacement or give you a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Once we've received and checked the item (usually 1–3 business days), we refund your original payment method. The money normally shows up within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
You can cancel at any time. If you ask within 14 days of a charge and haven't used any Premium features in that period, we refund the unused part of the period. For a one-off Standard payment, contact us within 14 days and we'll look at your case.
We don't do direct exchanges. Return the original for a refund and place a new order. That's the quickest way to get the right item.
Teams & businesses
Branded cards for 5 or more people, and the team workspace.
Yes, for teams of 5 or more. Every card is printed in your company design. Each person gets their own profile with the Standard plan included, and there's no subscription. Bundles: 5 cards £119, 10 cards £199, 25 cards £399, 50 cards from £649. Extra cards for an existing team cost £15 each. Our first 10 teams get 20% off as a founding offer.
Send us your team's details and we reply with a quote and a secure payment link. We send you a design proof within 1 working day. Cards are dispatched 3–5 working days after you approve the proof, and UK delivery is free.
The person who placed the order becomes the team owner, with a Team workspace in their dashboard. From there the owner and any admins they invite can see every card, switch off a card, pass a card to a new member of staff, invite people, export the leads your team collects and order more cards.
An admin can switch the person's card off straight away, or free the card up so a new team member can claim it. Any leads collected through team cards stay with the team.
Yes. Admins can lock the template, colours and company name, so everyone's profile matches your brand and staff can't change it.
Yes. You choose whether anyone with a card can claim it, only people with a company email address, or only people you've invited. People who have been removed from the team can't claim a card again.
Sellers & stockists
Selling Jema cards in your shop or at events.
Sellers are shops, event organisers and individuals who stock Jema cards and earn commission on every one they sell.
Email hello@jemacards.com or use our contact form and tell us about your business. Once you're approved, we set up your seller account and send your stock. You then sign in at /sell with the email we registered for you.
Tap the card on the back of your phone, scan its QR code, or type in the number on the back. Then choose how the customer pays: to you, in cash or on your own card machine, or by card on their own phone. The customer sets up the card with the code inside the pack.
Your commission rate is agreed when you join. Your seller dashboard shows what you've sold and your running balance. When you take the payment yourself, you owe Jema the price minus your commission. When the customer pays online, Jema owes you your commission. We settle balances regularly.
Your seller dashboard shows how many cards you have left and warns you when you're running low. Ask us and we'll send more.
Yes, one account can do both. The account menu lets you switch between your own dashboard and your seller dashboard.
Privacy & security
How we protect your data, and the control you have over it.
Your data is protected
- HTTPS encryption
- Payments by Stripe
- UK GDPR compliant
- We never sell your data
Yes. Every page and request is encrypted over HTTPS. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, a dedicated authentication provider, so we never see or store your password. Payments go through Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. The platform runs on Vercel's cloud infrastructure, and only our application and authorised iPaha staff can access our database.
No. Stripe processes all card payments, and we never see or store your full card number.
Only you. If your card belongs to a team, your team's owner and admins can see leads collected through team cards too. Your public profile only shows what you choose to publish.
No. We use your data to run Jema Cards: your profile, your orders, your emails and your analytics. We never sell it.
We record the visit (time, device type, browser, country, and which links they click) so you can see your analytics. Visitors' IP addresses are removed after 7 days, and raw analytics events are kept for 13 months.
You can delete your account at any time from Dashboard, then Settings. To get a copy of your data, or to use any other right under UK GDPR, email hello@ipaha.co.uk. We keep billing records for 7 years because UK company law requires it.
Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Cloudinary (images) and Resend (emails). Each one only handles what it needs to do its job.
