To take payments (payment links, deposits for bookings, and your store), connect a Stripe account. It's a Premium feature.
- Go to Dashboard → Payments and choose Connect.
- Stripe opens. Create a Stripe Express account or sign in, and enter your business and bank details. Stripe asks for ID to verify you.
- You come back to Jema. When the status shows Active — payments enabled, you're ready.
If it says Action required or Onboarding in progress, choose Complete verification to finish with Stripe.
Fees
Jema charges a 2.5% platform fee on payments, plus Stripe's own processing fees. Money goes to your Stripe account and Stripe pays it out to your bank on its normal schedule. The Stripe Dashboard button opens your Stripe Express dashboard for payouts and statements.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect from the Payments page. Active payment links stop working, but your Stripe account isn't deleted and pending payouts still arrive. You can reconnect the same or a different account later.
